The work environment, plant, interfaces and foreseeable failure modes are reviewed before work starts. Controls are based on the actual site and task rather than treated as a paperwork exercise.

Industrial clients need confidence in how a contractor plans, controls and documents the work before attendance, throughout execution and at handover.
SWMS, JSEA and client systems
Task and site requirements are documented in the format required by the engagement. Client permit, induction, access and document-control systems are incorporated into planning and mobilisation.
Isolation and verification
Isolation, lock-out/tag-out and verification are completed in accordance with legislation, the asset owner's procedures and the applicable permit system. HV switching activities require site-specific authorisation from the asset owner or network operator.
Test equipment
Appropriate test instruments are selected for the task, maintained and checked or calibrated as required by the manufacturer, client system and work scope. Testing results and findings are recorded for follow-up.
Records and handover
Testing results, certificates required by the work, marked-up information, identified defects and outstanding actions are provided in a practical form for the client or site file.
Site onboarding
Competency, insurance, induction and contractor information can be supplied for client onboarding. Any additional prequalification or site-access requirements are confirmed before mobilisation.
